INSTRUCTIONS FOR VIRTUAL COMPETITION FOR HORTICULTURE
Photos to be taken at home at any time and must be emailed to me (Elaine Hjelte - acrelane@aol.com) by March 16th, 2020
Each photo will be assigned a letter and a number, example A-1, and then be sent to the judge who will give an award of 1st, 2nd, 3rd and HM.
At the Zoom meeting your horticulture will be shown along with the award given. No names will be shown.
In each Section you will choose only one photo to enter. Each exhibitor is limited to 3 photos.
Photos are to taken of your plants outside. If you are taking a picture of a flowering annual, choose one flower and photograph it. All photos are to be sent to me with your name and the common name as well as the botanical name and cultivar. For the outdoor container grown plant, please identify plants in the container.
Section A Spring Bulbs
Class 1 Crocus
Class 2 Galanthus, Snowdrops
Class 3 One named specimen
Section B Flowering Biennial or Perennial
Class 4 One named specimen
Section C Container Grown Plants
Class 5 Flowering
Class 6 Foliage
